Now that you have selected a guitar style, the first consideration is body shape.

The Concert, Auditorium and Jumbo are available in non-cutaway, sharp cutaway or soft cutaway formats, while the Dreadnought is available in non-cutaway or soft-cutaway configurations.
After you decide on body shape, you can consider two different options for body depth.
Deep Bodies
Our deeper body configuration measures 4-9/16" at the lower bout. This configuration maximizes internal volume, and is the best choice for getting a strong, deep bass response and a very powerful overall tone.
Shallow Bodies
The Breedlove Shallow Body configuration measures 4-1/16" at the lower bout. That's only 1/2" shallower than a deep body, but this can make a sizeable difference in tone. The result is a tighter, more focused bass response and a snappier, more immediate tone. Also, the shallower body can deliver a more comfortable and ergonomic instrument for some players.
Building Your Part Number
You now have enough information to build a part number for your Breedlove instrument. This number tells you everything you need to know about the body shape, depth and cutaway style.
Breedlove Original Design part numbers start with a letter, followed by two numbers. The letter corresponds to Body Shape. Next, a digit denotes a shallow or deep body (1 or 2 respectively). The last digit selects cutaway type.
The following diagram explains this in greater detail using the model number "C25" as an example.

Examples: A C25 is a deep-bodied Master Class concert with a soft cutaway, while an SA10 is a shallow-bodied S-Series Auditorium with no cutaway. And a CM... well, that's a CM - no further qualification required!
Here are all the possible body combinations currently available.
