One of those relationships was with country music superstar Blake Shelton.
More than 25 years ago, Pete and Blake shared time together in a band, both young artists navigating the unpredictable road that is the music business. Years later, that friendship would take on even deeper meaning when Pete appeared on NBC’s The Voice, where Blake—serving as Pete’s coach—chose him, helping reintroduce Pete’s musical journey to a national audience.
